Banana Bread vegano


  • ¼ cup of soy milk

  • 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar

  • 3 very ripe bananas

  • ½ cup of brown sugar (also called Moscobado)

  • ¼ cup of already dissolved coconut oil

  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

  • 2 cups of wholemeal flour

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • ½ teaspoon of fine salt

  • 1 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 cup of chocolate chips


  1. Preheat the static oven to 180 °.

  2. Add the vinegar and the milk, mix and let it rest.

  3. Mash the bananas in a large bowl.

  4. Add the sugar, coconut oil, vanilla and mix.

  5. Add the milk and vinegar and continue mixing.

  6. Add the flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon and mix.

  7. Add the chocolate chips, being careful to mix gently.

  8. Lightly grease the pan and pour the mixture.

  9. Add some chocolate chips on the surface as well.

  10. Cook for 1 hour and 10 minutes.


  • Wholemeal flour cannot be substituted. The yield of the dessert would not be the same.
